EXHIBIT W <br />SCOPE OF WORK and BUDGET <br />KEY ACTIVITIES <br />Work with key Yakima Basin Integrated Plan (Yakima Plan) stakeholders (primarily <br />Implementation and Executive Committees as well as Workgroup members and others <br />as appropriate) to implement an outreach and communications plan to increase <br />awareness and support for the Yakima Plan and its implementation by local, state, and <br />federal decision makers and the general public on both sides of the Cascades. <br />Coordinate key stakeholders to carry out the outreach and communications plan by: <br />Planning and facilitating media outreach; <br />• Scheduling and executing educational field trips for a variety of audiences; <br />• Preparing stakeholders for interviews, testimony, public events and media <br />opportunities; <br />Develop and maintain social media for the Yakima Plan; <br />Coordinate with state and federal agencies in designing, developing, populating, <br />and maintaining a website to serve as a hub for the Yakima Plan; <br />Executing a °rapid response" strategy to address developing events through both <br />media and targeted outreach, in coordination with Yakima Plan Implementation <br />and Executive Committees and subcommittees as appropriate; and <br />Developing fact sheets and other materials as needed by the Implementation and <br />Executive Committees and distribute as requested. <br />o Attend Yakima Plan Workgroup and Committee meetings as needed. <br />STRUCTURE <br />Staff member will report to American Rivers, which will ensure that key activities listed <br />above are carried out and that staff member is representing and responsive to <br />Implementation and Executive Committees. <br />EXHIBIT "B" <br />Professional Services Agreement with American Rivers <br />Page 14 <br />
