At[ conditions not <br />modified shat[ remain unchanged. <br />REVISE INVITATION TO BID <br />Response to Questions from Bidders: <br />Ouestion: For pay item 2O Clear and Grub. there is no reference to what you want done with the <br />excess spoils that can't be re-used as topsoit. ls the intent to leave the excess on site in a <br />stockpite, spread-out, or export off site? <br />The contractor shall haul excess C&G material to a stockpile onsite located within 25O' of <br />the collector road. <br />Ouestion: For Pay items 13, 14. 15. Conduit oioe in. Diam.. With City of El.lensburg oversight <br />will a ticensed etectrician stitl be needed to assemble. bed. and backfitt the conduits if the city is <br />going to be oroviding and instatting the conductors themsetves. <br />A Journeyman Lineman tS NOT required to installthe conduit or perform any of the <br />excavation. A City Light Quolified Worher lS required to be onsite to approve conduit <br />installation. <br />A Journeyman Lineman IS required to provide grounding for the concrete vaults if they <br />aren't manufactured with internal grounding. <br />A Journeyman Lineman lS required to provide grounding for the fiberglass vault. <br />StreetlightvauLts and bases do not require grounding, so a Journeyman Lineman and/or <br />Journeyman Electrician lS NOT required. <br />Question: Regarding Addendum No. 3. ltem No. 5 (gl (hl (i\ - As these documents woutd not be <br />executed until Notice of Award has been received, therefore qlpicatly not be required as part of <br />a Bid Prooosal package, please confirm that you are requesting the "Sample"/blank documents <br />to be included within the Bid Proposat package. <br />Item No. 5 (g) (h) (i) are required as samples <br />Ouestion: ls there a cross section for the road on this project? <br />On sheet TYPI (5 of 31) of the drawing set there is a Typical Road Section.
