BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. TO AWARD THE BID FOR DATA CENTER VIRTUALIZATION AND TO AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN'S SIGNATURE ON THE LEASE AGREEMENT AND THE STATEMENT OF WORK WHEREAS: A Request for Proposal for Data Center Virtualization (KCIS 12-1) was approved by the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on 2/ 7/2012; and WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids for the Request for Proposal was published in the Daily Record on 2/9/2012; and WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened 3/6/2012 at Sam in the Kittitas County Courthouse. Three bids had been received. Two were deemed responsive; and WHEREAS: The Information Technology Department, having met with the two responsive vendors, recommends that the responsible bid from IVOXY Consulting LLC of Kirkland, WA be accepted as the lowest bidder to meet specifications; and WHEREAS: IVOXY Consulting LLC has provided Kittitas County with a Statement of Work that contains the project scope, terms and conditions, and negotiated rates, and the Information Technology Department has reviewed and accepts the Statement of Work; and WHEREAS: In order to facilitate the acquisition of certain equipment for the purpose of Support of County functions for use by the Kittitas County and to pay the cost thereof, it is necessary and desirable for Kittitas County to enter into a Lease/Purchase Agreement with NetApp, Inc. dba NetApp Capital Solutions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, hereby awards the bid for data center virtualization to IVOXY Consulting LLC conditioned upon the terms and conditions specified in the proposal and statement of work submitted by said bidder. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, hereby approves the Lease/Purchase Agreement with NetApp, Inc. dba NetApp Capital Solutions, provided the maximum aggregate principal portion of rental payments under the Lease will not exceed $229,982.75 and the interest portions of rental payments will be calculated at a per annum rate not to exceed 3.33%.
