Urban Forest. The trail allows snowmobiles in the winter, but is otherwise non- <br />motorized. Under snow, the trail is shared by cross country skiers, snowshoers, <br />snowmobiles, dog walkers, and other users, During warrner months trail users include <br />walkers, joggers, equestrians, and bicyclists. <br />The trail counter proposed for the Cle Elunr entrance to the Coal Mines Trail can be <br />mounted at various heights, depending upon the demographic being counted (e.g., <br />horse and rider vs pedestrian), or could be combined with a pofable trail counter to <br />track multiple demographics and/or locations. For example, all users might be <br />counted by placing trail counfers could be placed at multiple heights in one location, <br />or the city could determine how many users enter the trail via the Denny Ave <br />connection (60+ home community) versus the downtown Cle Elum entrance. This <br />trail counter could assist the City with gathering important information to share with <br />the Coal Mines Trail Commission, the County, and the City of Roslyn as well. <br />D.os.Fark - lons-3erm counter <br />The Dog Park trail counter would be located just inside the park's entrance-only <br />gate and be programmed to only count park users adjacent to the entrance to avoid <br />picking up people on the walking paths.
