BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO JACOBS <br />ENGINEERING GROUP TASK ORDER NO.3 — SPRING CREEK RESTORATION <br />PLAN <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has a Task Order contract with Jacobs Engineering Group creating <br />a restoration plan for Spring Creek pursuant to the Director of Public Works <br />contact authorization authority; and <br />WHEREAS: The restoration effort for Spring Creek is being funded by the Habitat <br />Subcommittee of the Yakima Integrated Planning effort; and <br />WHEREAS: Staff believes implementation of the restoration plan is best executed using a <br />competitive bidding process and bid preparation is being offered by Jacobs <br />Engineering Group as an amendment to their design Task Order; and <br />WHEREAS: The additional $20,711 needed to produce the bid package requires Board of <br />County Commission authorization, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chairman's signature on Jacobs Engineering <br />Group Amendment No. 1 to Task Order No. 3 increasing the amount of the Task Order from <br />$46,691 to $67,402. <br />DATED this 16th day of March 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
