KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: March 16, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve a Resolution to authorize the Chair's <br />Signature on Amendment No. 1 to Jacobs Engineering <br />Group Task Order No. 3 Spring Creek Restoration Plan Bid <br />Support <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works currently has a Task Order with Jacobs <br />Engineering Group developing a restoration plan for Spring <br />Creek. Recently, Public Works determined that <br />implementation of the plan is best executed by with a <br />competitive bid process. Amendment No. 1 adds <br />approximately $20,000 to the Task Order supporting bid <br />preparation with additional field support during plan <br />implementation. The original task order was for $46,691 <br />and the new amount is $67,402. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to authorize the Chair's signature <br />on Amendment No. 1 to Jacobs Engineering Group Task <br />Order No. 3 — Spring Creek Restoration Plan Bid Support. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Amendment No. 1 to Jacobs Engineering <br />Group Task Order No. 3. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
