THOMPSON PARK MILFOIL TREATMENT DONATION <br />Mark Cook gave background on Thompson Park and the renaming to honor <br />Sheriff Deputy Ryan Thompson along with other improvements to the <br />park by the county road crew and milfoil treatment. Mark Cook stated <br />that Marc Eylar with Noxious Weed contacted him about the donation of <br />herbicide to control the milfoil infestation that does not affect the <br />wildlife. Mark Cook added that Noxious Weed would donate staff time <br />to apply the herbicide and no fiscal impacts are expected. Marc <br />Eylar commented that the owner of the vegetation company contacted <br />him after seeing the article in the newspaper for the renaming of the <br />park and wanted to get involved. Marc Eylar added that he is <br />licensed to apply the herbicide as well.
