(HWA) <br />consulting services on behalf of Kittitas County Solid Waste Programs (the County) at the <br />Ryegrass Balefill and Limited Purpose Landfill (LPL). Below, we present our scope of work and <br />cost estimate to provide environmental monitoring and reporting services at the Ryegrass Balefill <br />and Limited Purpose Landfill. <br />APPROACH AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />HWA proposes to perform the following tasks: <br />GROUND WATER <br />Ground water monitoring — HWA will conduct ground water monitoring at both the <br />Ryegrass Balefill and Limited Purpose Landfill, per the current ground water monitoring/ <br />sampling and analysis plans for each facility. Groundwater at the Baelfill is monitored <br />semi-annually, and quarterly at the LPL. In addition gas is monitored annually at the <br />Balefill. This proposal includes these sampling events, and assumes analytical laboratory <br />work will be contracted and paid directly by the County. <br />Reporting — HWA will tabulate, compile and analyze all field and analytical data, <br />including ground water hydrographs, parameter time -concentration graphs, cation/anion <br />graphs, etc., and prepare annual environmental monitoring reports for the Ryegrass <br />Balefill and Limited Purpose Landfill once, in the first quarter of each year from 2022 to <br />2026 (for sampling conducted from 2021 to 2025). The reports will included previously <br />established the background levels and annual compliance based on all the data.
