DISCUSSION:
Kittitas County Conservation District has successfully worked with the Ellensburg Water
Company designing and implementing siphon and fish screening and passage projects
where the Ellensburg Water Company canal crosses Cooke and Coleman Creeks.
The Kittitas County Conservation District discussed the ILA at their February board
meeting. They directed their District Manager to proceed with finalizing the ILA and are
requesting that the County accept the final design. Before finalization, the ILA will be
updated to provide this clarification and to identify the work the Conservation District
will do to engage the Ellensburg Water Company for their review and approval of the
final design.
FISCAL IMPACTS:
This activity is included in the 2021 Flood Control Zone District budget.
ATTACHMENTS:
Exhibit 1: Draft Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County Flood Control District
and Kittitas County Conservation District.
PUBLIC WORKS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT
