Future Plans*We will do more research and identify more sponsorship deadlines, to secure
partnerships of that nature earlier. ln fact, lrae have started already,
Ticket prices will increase incremenially, and \ e will offer more side events - like
paid cider-making ta,orkshops - that will attract more attendees and increase
revenue.
Keeping great musicians is critical, and balancing rdrat's affordable with wtrat's
exciting and attractive to ticket buyers, will continue to be something that \r€
monitor closely. We also plan lo build the partnership with Chinook Entertainment
so that one day the partnership has them paying for the talent and KEEN can focus
on other elements ofthe event.
CiderCrafVSip and NW Cider Association have both indicated thai they raould
support (sponsor) a juried/competitive program, which uould attract the very
highest quality products from around the State. NW Cider Assn may help us
negotiate the pathvwys to being able to offer out of state products. Beverage
competitions charge entry fees, and that wor-rld increase our income and boost our
cachet. Which in turn rrould make us more attraclive to sponsors.
2500 character lrnit
Application Questions: Part 4
6l Additional lnformation
Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your
project and its benefit to tourism.
2020 lnformation lf you had a planned ever{ in 2020, whet}rer it was able to lake dace o{ not, dease describe any successes and
challenges you experienced.
We cancelled cider fesl early in the planning process. Hou,ever, r,rc had made
agreements with Chinook Entertainment, reached out to cider houses, and started
our volunteer planning comnrittee. lt was a hard decision to make early, but ue
decided to so that our focus could be on our educational programming instead.
2500 character linit
