Having a strong program
generates jtrterest for the up and coming young ladies to attend our pageant and
see ulrat it takes lo compete at such a level.
The strategies we enrploy to assure we attract tourists from at least 50 miles away
include social media, prini advertising, Royalty visits to rodeos across Washington
State, Oregon, ldaho and other states jn the USA. This includes PRCA rodeos,
NPRA rodeos, High School Rodeos. Our Royalty attend autograph print signings
during their visits- Autograph prints will have information to direct them to our
u,ebpage and social media. We plan on sending information to each contestant for
sLtggested areas of interest. Places to shop and dine wl-rile they are in Ellensburg
for the Miss Rodeo Washington pageant. Our vrebsite Wll have local
accommodations page with links to overnight options throughout the county. Our
annolrncer recognizes sponsors throughout the pageant.
While contestants are sequestered. taking a test (or interviewing), friends and
family are encouraged to discover Ellensburg, shopping and taking advantage of
the local cuisine. and tour surrounding Kittitas Valley.
2500.haract-^r limt
4lCollaboration
lf your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other
events, how is this accomplished?
4.1 Collaboration *The strategies we will use to assist in marketing all of Kittitas County as a tourist
destination is using the designated logos for the Kittitas County Chamber of
Commerce on all of our media.
