Response 1: <br />ProjecVEvent <br />Description * <br />Gallery One requests funds to support annual marketing efforts of our events, <br />exhibits, classes, and gift shop to self identified arts lovers, the cultural tourist, and <br />those who seek value added experiences to lheir time in Kittitas County. <br />Events will include: <br />- An outdoor version of our Studio Tours that exhibits ari\^ork outside <br />- opportunities to meet the artists in the efribits and gift shop through "Artists in <br />Action" and First Friday events or similar receptions <br />-PechaKucha nights and oiher community focused lalks <br />Our rotaling e*ribits will feature local and regional artists as well as one national <br />call for artisls. E*ribits atiract visiting families and communities from wtrere the <br />artists originate. <br />Our gift shop will shovlcase art and crafts from the Pacific Northrnest. Artists <br />represented not only visit Ellensburg regularly but also encourage their spheres of <br />influence. <br />Our classes, taught by professional artists from around the region will appeal to all <br />ages and abilities and drawtheir fans to Ellensburg to participate in the w)rkshops. <br />We are currently committed to six days a rircek and il our budget can support it, iae <br />will epand that to seven days a r,r,eek again. <br />2500 character linit <br />List of lntended Use of Funds* <br />1. Marketing with other arts organizations around the <br />state to capture self identified arts lovers. <br />2. Radio advertising to capture the cultural tourist. <br />3. Support of artist elpenses such as travel, lodging, <br />and art delivery and shipping epenses. <br />4. Online marketing to include social media ad <br />management and content development. <br />2l Supporting Kittitas County as a tourism destination <br />1. Away from their place of residence or business and staying overnight in paid accommodations; <br />2. 1o a place fifty miles or more a\ray from their place of residence or business for the day or staying overnight; <br />3. or from another country or state outside of their place of residence or business. <br />You must provide the evidence utilized in determining your projections.
