violation of RCW 46.61.560 are subject to a $200 fine payable and appealable as provided in <br />Ch. 46.63 RCW. Said fines and impoundment shall be effective upon installation of <br />appropriate signs. (Ord. 2020-002, 2020; Ord. 2019-012, 2019; Ord. 96-16, 1996). <br />Recent land use changes within the Snoqualmie LAMIRD now enable Public Works to <br />solicit for no parking enforcement support services. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Public Works has been working to enable a robust entbrcement response to ongoing <br />parking violations in Hyak during high use weekends at the pass. Public Works <br />anticipates changes in driver behavior resulting from sustained enforcement efforts <br />including towing and impounding vehicles.
