Response 3:
Measuring Results*
Application Questions: Part 3
Dscribe how you will prcxrote your eventractivity,{acility to attract tourists.
Our Museum will be promoted in a series of r,rays to attract tourists to visit at a time
they feel most comfortable to them. Since there are a number of current
restrictions, it is important to make the organization accessible to everyone. By
producing videos of monthly virtual lectures (and possible in-person lectures),
along Wih exhibits, it will enable the museum stays accessible those who wish to
examine and study Kittitas County history.
The advertising also helps to promote this accessibility, along with points of interest
that uould entice visitation of the area and museum. lt uould include highlights,
such as a frequent "Did You Knovr/' feature on our u,ebsite wtren updaied that
uould highlight an aspeci of local history about a person, place, event, or activity,
or item in the collection, This \rculd be also featured in our ne\ sletter that
individuals uould sign up for and that rrould highlight more in-depth stories of our
eftibits, afilfacis, activities, and events, along wilh ongoing activities at our partner
organizations. Online advertising uaruld be targeted toraard specific interests in the
western United States, encouraging individuals to sign up for ihe neusletter, virtual
(or onsiie) leciures, and to visit our vrcbsite and eventually the Museum.
By featuring exhibits and highlights ihrough video and website updates. it is our
hope to entice individuals to visit our museum and see items of interest to them.
The lectures provide a different avenue to learn more about a specific topic on
local history, in anticipation of a return to the Museum, but it uould invite attendees
to visit the museum and stay in Ellensburg; a message that vrould also be echoed
in our online advertising and neriusletters.
We will measure our success through tracking sign-ups of the neusletter and
lecture portals. the open-rate of the nerarslelter, the vievr,s of the videos, Google
Analy, tics and tracking of the uebsite and respective social media insights and
tracking. We will also track onsite visitation through our Attendance Log, which raie
compare to the previous years to identify trends and adjust our advertising
campaign accordingly.
2500 character linit
4lCollaboration
lf your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other
events, how is this accomplished?
