Future Plans*We will do more research and identify more sponsorship deadlines, to secure
partnerships of that nature earlier. In fact, rae have started already.
Ticket prices will increase incrementally, and u,e will offer more side events - like
paid cider-making wrrkshops - thal will attract more attendees and increase
revenue.
Keeping great musicians is critical, and balancing what's affordable with wfrat's
exciting and attractive to ticket buyers, will continue to be something that lve
monitor closely. We also plan to build the partnership with Chinook Entertainmeni
so that one day the partnership has them paying for the talent and KEEN can focus
on other elements of the event.
CiderCraft/Sip and NW Cider Association have both indicated ihat they vliculd
support (sponsor) a juried/competitive program, uhich uould attract the very
highest quality products from around the State. NW Cider Assn may help us
negotiate lhe pathraays to being able to offer out of state products. Beverage
competitions charge entry fees, and that unuld increase our income and boost our
cachet. Which in turn would make us more altractive to sponsors.
2500 character linit
Application Questions: Part 4
6l Additional lnformation
Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging TaxAdvisory Committee in evaluating your
project and its benefit to tourism.
2020 lnformation ll you had a planned event in 2020, whether it was able lo take place or not, dease describe any successes and
clrallenges you experiered.
We cancelled cider fest early in the planning process. Hor.rever, rire had made
agreements with Chinook Entertainment, reached out io cider houses, and started
our volunteer planning comnrittee. lt lras a hard decision to make early, but r,r,e
decided to so that our focus could be on our educational programming instead.
2500 characta'linit
