Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. lnclude any plans for ticket <br />sales, event sponsors, and other cost-recovery models. <br />Future Plans*Future plans to make this event self-sustaining will primarily be fron'r ticket sales, <br />vendor sales and event sponsorships. We will rely significantly on entrance tickets <br />and food and beverage sales to sustain the event. Sponsorship funds will be less <br />than 2Aok of the generated income from the event in the initial years to guarantee <br />our revenLle model works. There u,ere many positive aspects of the original idea. As the person who <br />created this event for Hospice Friends, lfound tremendous support and excitement <br />from ntany of the following organizations; Airlift Northr,rest, Kittitas Valley Hospital, <br />Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue, Department of Natural Resources, Tom Dent (State <br />Representative), County commissioners, City officials and many local businesses. <br />There rrms interest fornr the US Army and civilian aircraft ovrners wlling to suppod <br />the event. Over $1000 was raised in the first week of promotiolrs, prior to stopping <br />sponsor requests based on the Covid-19 Pandemic. <br />2500 oharacler Iinit <br />Additional lnformation ln determining our projected spectator and lodging nunrbers we used ihe <br />lnternational Council of Airshows Study from 2018. This study stated that on <br />average 32% of spectator travel from 40+ miles and 12% travels 100+ miles to <br />attend aviation events. With the expectaiion of approximately 1500 spectators we <br />have based the participation on these numbers.
