Response 3: <br />Measuring Results * <br />Application Questions: Part 3 <br />Describe how yoil will ffo{'ote your evenuactlvjtylfacility to aitract tourists. <br />Our Museum will be promoted in a series of vrnys io aitract tourists to visit at a time <br />they feel most comfortable to them- Since there are a number of current <br />restrictions, it is important to make the organization accessible to everyone. By <br />producing videos of monthly virtual lectures (and possible in-person lectures), <br />along with exhibits, it will enable the museum stays accessible those r,ttro wish to <br />examine and study Kittitas County history. <br />The advertising also helps to promoie this accessibility, along with points of inlerest <br />that rrr,rculd entice visitation of the area and museum. lt r,rould include highlights, <br />such as a frequent "Did You KnoW'feature on our rarebsite when updated that <br />uould highlight an aspect of local history about a person, place, event, or activity, <br />or item in the collection. This lvculd be also featured in our newsletter that <br />individuals uould sign up for and that lrculd highlight more in-depth stories of our <br />erhibits, artifacis, activities, and events, along with ongoing activities at our partner <br />organizations. Online advertising wruld be targeted toward specific interests in the <br />\ estern United States, encouraging individuals to sign up for the nernsletter, virtual <br />(or onsite) lectures, and to visit our vr,rebsite and eventually the Museum. <br />By featuring exhibits and highlights lhrough video and rnebsite updates, it is our <br />hope to entice individuals to visit our museum and see items of interest to ihem. <br />The lectures provide a different avenue to learn more aboul a specific topic on <br />local history, in anticipation of a return to ihe Museum, but it lrould invite attendees <br />to visit the museum and siay in Ellensburg, a message that raould also be echoed <br />in our online advertising and nevr,sletters. <br />We will measure our success through tracking sign-ups of the nernsletter and <br />Iecture portals. the open-rate of the newsletter, the views of the videos, Google <br />Analytics and tracking of the ra,ebsite and respective social media insights and <br />tracking.
