Additional lnformation Junk-tiquen in the Burg is gaining a large following of both shoppers and vendors. Vendors spaces are maxed out with a waiting list and the nunrber of shoppers continues to grow. National maga2ne, Flea Market Gardens. named the showas one of readers'top choice vintage shor,m to attend. ln 2017, Junktiquen in the Burg was named one of the 12 top vintage markets in the United States as a must attend show by National magazine, Flea Market Decor'. Receiving this grant will allowme to build on this and continue to advertise to markets outside of the County and State, drawing more shoppers and vendors from out of ihe area. More out of State and Country shoppers will increase the likelihood of overnight stays and all shoppers and vendors will increase ancillary spending in the County as v\€ll as enhance the quality of the show for our county residence- Junk-tiquen was gaining momentum, but with COVID hitting there is uicrry that without enough marketing, the event could see a large reduction. When you have a break in the annual events. it is easier for shoppers io forget about the show so it will be extremely important to have enough advertising for the 2021 year. The grant is a huge part of being able to boast the marketing arrd continue the momentum and success the show has. The marketing budget has been increased from the 2019 year to help keep the 2020 year from having a major impact. The application is submitted as one application, but Junk-tiquen hosts trrc shovrrs a year and though a greal deal of the marketing and costs can cover both shor,vs, there is a great deal of cost that each event date has.
