Response 2.2*
Application Questions: Part 2
Describe the prior success of yojr evenVactivity/facility in attraction tourists.
The show has been fortunate to have shoppers and vendors from not only all over
Washington State, but out of state as vrell. Surveys are collected to help track
where the shoppers and vendors are coming from and over 47o/o of my attendees
are tourists coming from more than 50 miles araay. Almost 11% of them stayed in
overnight paid accommodations and 37o/o came for the day or stayed in other
accommodations. Survey results reflected, my atlendees range from age 20 and
under to 60 plus with the majority being female. A lot of them heard of the show
through Facebook and adverlising in their areas through other media such as:
television, ne\#spaper and magalne ads.
Marketing is focused on areas over 50 miles away and the surveys help lrack to
see if marketing is raorking. lt has been helpful revieWng ihe results of the surveys.
I have learned that less than 1% of ihose surveyed are conring from out of State or
Country. Although I haven'i been able to attract more than 1%,I am continuing to
grow my event by the funding received. I am hoping that $iith my digital presence
and new partnerships that lcan increase this particular attendee. lwill dedicate a
percentage of nry advertising to draw more from out of State or Country.
2500 character linit
3llmpact
