SELECTION PROCESS AND PROPOSED SCHEDULE: Kittitas County selection will be based (District by District) on the firm's ability to provide sufficient snow removal equipment with provided operator, the combined equipment and operator hourly rate, the ability in providing primary and secondary route service (minimally must commit to providing primary route service), the probable response time following a "call out" from Public Works management staff. Public Works anticipates making awards for service by February 16, 2021. Kittitas County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises and airport concession disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The above noted schedule is tentative and may be changed based on the number of proposals submitted. Proposals will be evaluated immediately with final selection targeted for mid- February 2021. AGREEMENT OF SERVICES: The selected contractor(s) will be expected to enter into a standard Professional Services Agreement with the County. Insurance requirements are included in that agreement. The contract period shall be 02/2021 through 12/2021. WAGE RATES: Current Washington State Prevailing Wages shall apply. Washington State L & I Intent to Pay Prevailing Wage, Affidavit of Wages Paid, and Certified Payroll Reports are required for payment.
