BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - <br />ADOPTING COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENT'S POLICY 2020-01 <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners utilizes distressed county <br />use tax supporting Council of Government (COG) economic development <br />activities and construction of public facilities; and <br />WHEREAS: The COG maintains polices that assist the Board implementing Public Facility <br />Fund 108 grant awards annually; and <br />WHEREAS: The COG desires imposing a policy that requires grant recipients to obligate grant <br />funding within six months of grant award; and <br />WHEREAS: The COG voted to recommend policy adoption to the Board of County <br />Commissioners during its regularly scheduled meeting on December 16, 2020; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby adopt COG Policy 2020-01 imposing grant obligation <br />requirements on Public Facility Fund 108 grant awardees. <br />DATED this 5th day of January 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Vice -Chairman <br />Commissioner <br />
