KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />January 5, 2021 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution establishing Council of <br />Government's Policy 2020-01. <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, the Council of Government's recommended <br />adoption of Policy 2020-01. This policy requires Public <br />Facility Grant recipients to obligate grant award <br />expenditures within six months of award. Obligation takes <br />two forms: a signed consultant agreement or a signed <br />construction contract. This policy is part of a larger group <br />used in defining operation and management of the Public <br />Facility Fund, Fund number 108. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution establishing the Council of <br />Government's Policy 2020-01. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Policy 2020-01. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
