2021 PARK/RECREATION/OPEN SPACE PLAN <br />IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY, 2021 - 2024 <br />TASK 1: Affirm Goals and Policies in the adopted 06-09-2016 plan (Resolution 2016-076). <br />Review Chapter 2 of the PROS and affirm that the 2016 goals are still supported by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. If changes are desired, scope the scale of desired changes and map the <br />process updating the plan for resubmittal to Recreation Conservation Office. <br />Staff action(s): Schedule an initial work session with the Board reviewing adopted goals and <br />policies. Schedule a follow up work session receiving desired changes from individual Board <br />members. Affirm existing goals and policies — or identify desired changes as TASK 2 — no later <br />than February 12, 2021. <br />DELIVERABLE: 2021 Goals and Policies PROS Plan. <br />TIMELINE: 0112021 -- 0212021 <br />TASK 3: Review PROS Plan Implementation Strategy <br />Review Chapter 5 (Implementation) during a work session with the Board defining the 2021 <br />implementation strategy/priorities for staff. Once revised goals and policies are defined, review <br />and reprioritize Appendix 6 projects in the PROS Capital Facility Plan. <br />Staff action(s): List the top two PROS priorities for 2021 implementation. <br />DELIVERABLE: Two priority implementation actions defining the 2021 PROS work program. <br />TEMELINE: 0212021 <br />TASK 4: Identify resources necessary associated with TASK 3 priorities (labor and <br />consulting). <br />Staff action(s): Identify in house planning resources and any anticipated consultant support <br />needs.
