Staff hiring except for which is solicited from the BOCC for Airport Director <br />4. The Airport Director will periodically review department financial reports with the <br />Committee for understanding and alignment with airport goals and objectives <br />5. When issues arise related to customer service or quality control, Airport Staff shall exhaust <br />all opportunities to resolve the issue with affected parties before the matter is referred to <br />the Committee for input. <br />6. Committee members will be expected to foster a positive reputation of the Airport and <br />Kittitas County by promoting Airport awareness, assisting in marketing efforts, and <br />participating in public events that support the Airport. <br />7. The Airport Director, or his/her designee, shall attend all Committee meetings but shall not <br />have a vote. <br />8. The Airport Director shall incorporate formal Committee recommendations via staff report <br />into discussion and decision matters before the BOCC. <br />9. The Committee will strive to meet once a month on the second Wednesday, but in no event <br />less than once every three months. Special meetings may be requested by the Airport <br />Director or Committee Chair. <br />10. The Airport Director and Committee Chair will prepare a report in December of each year <br />outlining long-range goals for Airport development along with accomplishments achieved <br />during the preceding year for joint presentation to the BOCC at the following January <br />regular Airport Study Session. <br />11. The makeup of the Committee shall be seven (7) members residing in Kittitas County and <br />may include representatives from the County, City of Ellensburg, pilots, Airport lessees <br />and tenants, or anyone with relevant experience or interest considered beneficial for Airport <br />aeronautical facility/business park growth. <br />12. Members shall be chosen and approved by the BOCC <br />13. Members will serve a three- (3) year term.
