HOSP|TALDlSTTct12 <br />K|TT|TAS COUNTY PUBUC HOSP|TAL D|STR|CT NO. 2/M&O <br />RESOLUTION No. 11-09-20-07 <br />November 9,2A20 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HOSPITAL DISTRICT <br />NO. 2, DECLARING AND FINDING THAT SUBSTANTIAL NEED EXISTS AND DIRECTING THAT A LIMIT <br />FACTOR OF 101 PERCENT BE USED FOR THE PROPERW TAX LEVY TO BE COLLECTED IN 2021 IN THE <br />DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County Public Hospital District No. 2/M&O has met <br />and considered its budget for the calendar year 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners in the course of considering the budget tor 2A2t has reviewed <br />all sources of revenue and examined all anticipated expenses and obligations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has determined that, due to increased operating costs for <br />administration, medical services, and other factors the Board of Commissioners finds that there is a <br />substantial need to increase the regular property tax levy rate up to 1% above the previous year's levy; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, RCW 84.55.0101 authorizes the Board of Commissioners, upon a finding of substantial need <br />to approve a Resolution by a super majority vote to establish a limit factor of up to 101% <br />NOW, BE lT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County Public Hospital District No. 2 <br />that based on the substantial need of the District, the limit factor for the levy for taxes to be collected in <br />calendaryear202Tshall be 101 percentofthe highestamountofpropertytaxesthatcould have been <br />lawfully levied in this taxing district beginning with the 1.985 levy, refund levy not included. <br />ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County Public Hospital District No. <br />2 on the 9th day of November,2020. <br />nd Comm ner Commissioner <br />sstoner Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />o
