3P <br />TASK 4A — 30% PRELIMINARY DESIGN (PAVEMENT REPAIR AND OVERLAY) <br />Objective: Develop 30% design for Vantage Highway pavement repair and overlay consisting of <br />plans and construction cost estimate. Develop cost evaluation of paving alternatives. <br />Consultant Responsibilities: <br />I. Participate in design coordination meetings with the County. Prepare agendas, figures, <br />meeting minutes and other exhibits as necessary. Assumes up to two coordination <br />meetings. Coordination meetings for Task 4A and 4B will be at the same meeting. <br />2. Develop a high level cost evaluation of feasible paving alternatives based upon <br />recommendations of the project geotechnical report and project goals. <br />3. Prepare 30% Review Submittal for review and approval by the County. The submittal will <br />include, at a minimum, the following: <br />a. Plans <br />L Survey Basemap -Develop from County provided lidar survey for use in <br />design development. This effort is common between Tasks 4A and 4B and <br />one basemap will be developed for the project. <br />ii. Typical Sections <br />iii. Paving Plans and Details <br />b. Construction Cost Estimate <br />Assumptions: <br />1. County provided E_idar survey is complete and adequate for the overlay project design and <br />does not require correction to vertical datum values. <br />County Responsibilities: <br />1. Provide E_idar survey of project. <br />2. Provide review and direction for paving alternatives. <br />3. Provide review of 30% design. <br />Deliverables: <br />I.
