2020 ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE 2019 KITTITAS COUNTY MULTI -JURISDICTIONAL <br />HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN <br />Mark Cook gave background on the Hazard Mitigation Plan and the <br />requirements to participate in the Community Rating System. Mark <br />Cook stated that an annual report is required to be submitted stating <br />the progress made in implementing the plan. Mark Cook continued that <br />staff would like to issue a press release in conjunction with <br />submitting the report. Mark Cook added that additionally, staff will <br />bring forward a resolution at the next agenda session to ratify the <br />Chair's signature on the reporting documents. Discussion was held. <br />Staff was directed to issue the press release and BOCC staff will <br />post on Facebook as well. <br />Vice -Chairman Laura Osiadacz commented that she has received positive <br />comments from residents in Upper County on the Bullfrog Road project. <br />Mark Cook thanked the Board for their support and stated that this <br />was the first project done totally in-house in over a decade. <br />Commissioner Cory Wright suggested a press release on the <br />accomplishment as well. <br />Meeting adjourned at 1:55 pm. <br />2020-10-12 MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />
