BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON11 <br />RESOLUTION NO. l <br />DEMONSTRATING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SUPPORT FOR <br />AVIATION REVITALIZATION LOAN PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE <br />WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AVIATION <br />DIVISION FOR BOWERS FIELD EAST HANGAR TAXIWAY AND UTILITIES <br />CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF AIRPORT <br />OPERATIONS TO EXECUTE LOAN DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County intends to submit An Aviation Revitalization Loan Program <br />Application to the Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation <br />(WSDOT) for the Construction of the East Hangar Taxiway and Utilities Project <br />at Bowers Field Airport (ELN); and <br />WHEREAS: The current anticipated total project funding is estimated to be $484,909; and <br />WHEREAS: The Aviation Revitalization Loan Program requires that loan program applicants <br />submit a Resolution of Support from the Board of County Commissioners, and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners understand the loan will be repaid from <br />airport fund reserves over time; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners declares it be in the best interest of Bower Field Airport and does <br />hereby support submitting an Airport Revitalization Loan Program application for <br />Bowers Field and authorizes the Director of Airport Operations to execute the <br />application on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />DATED this 28th day of September 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />AttesNG�o�,, `C1 ���CJTitd its' <br />WASM aa\O\\. <br />��C' berk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />C?1 eputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />ABSENT <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
