Data rxu$t be segregated or otherwise drstinguishable from non-DCYF data. This is to ensure that <br />wlten n* fonger needed by the Contractor, all Data can be identifiecl for return or destruction. lt also <br />aids in deternining wheiher Daia has or may have been compromised in the evenl of a security <br />breach. As sr"tch, one or nrore of the followlng methods will be used for data segregation: <br />{1). Oata will be kelrt on media {e.9. harcl disk, optical disc, tape, etc.) which lvrll contain no non- <br />DCYF Data; andlor; <br />{2). Data will be stored in a logical eontaine r on electronic media, such as a partition or fo}der <br />dedicated to Data; ancl,ror; <br />{3). Data will be slored in a database which will contain no non-DOYF data; ancl/*r; <br />(4). Data will be stored within a database and rnrill be distir:gt"rishable from non-DCYF data by the <br />value af a specific field or fields within database rccords; and <br />{5).When stsred as physical paper documents, Data will be physical}y segregatecl frorn non-DCYF <br />data in a drawer, folder, or otlrer container. <br />b- When it is not feasible or practical to segregate Data from ncn-DCYF data, thrln both the Data and <br />the non-DCYF data with which it is comnringlecl nrust be protectecl as described in this exhibit, <br />11 Confiderrtiality Frotecti*n.
