Your workshop participants will <br />determine which concepts are vetted with the <br />public. <br />. Displav concepts on countv website - for <br />review and comment by the public. <br />. Conduct onen on alternative <br />concepts - to review and critique the concepts <br />with interested public and private <br />4 <br />organizations, property and business owners, <br />and the public. <br />Following the reviews - you, your Wayfinding <br />Advisory Committee (WAC), and others you <br />deem appropriate will select a preferred <br />wayfinding and river diredctory concept to <br />refine. <br />Task 2c: Refine preferred concept <br />Based on the results of task 2b, we will refine <br />your preferred wayfinding and river directory <br />concepts to reflect the critiques, suggestions, <br />and other comments you deem appropriate. <br />We will also program and evaluate the following <br />fabrication, installation, phasing, and funding <br />particulars: <br />. In-house production - including estimated <br />materials, labor, and other indirect costs <br />associated with producing and maintaining <br />wayfinding and directory signage elements by <br />your Public Works staff - and the resulting <br />impact on quality as well as other Public Works <br />staff workloads.. Contract production - including estimated <br />bidding and production costs, oversight <br />requirements, and sign maintenance and <br />replacement costs and issues if the initial or all <br />river directory and wayfinding elements are <br />produced by contract bid and construction with <br />installation by your Public Works staff.. Phasing sequences - that reflect overall <br />strategies that produce the most immediate and <br />Iong lasting impact whether river directory and <br />wayfinding elements are produced in-house or <br />by contract bid.. Funding strategies - including the possible <br />mixture of your lodging taxes with USFS, P&RC, <br />WDFW, WSDOT, Cle EIum, EIIensburg, Suncadia, <br />BPA, BLM, or other public, nonprofit, or private <br />organization to fund and maintain your river <br />directory and wayfinding system including the <br />possible private sponsorship of individual <br />installations or sites. <br />Task 2d: Validate concepts. costs. and <br />production methods <br />We will review the river directory and <br />wayfinding refinements, production, costs, <br />phasing, funding, and sign or other ordinance <br />options with you, your Wayfinding Advisory <br />Committee (WAC), and others you deem <br />appropriate during a series of workshops.
