September 28, 2020 FaCEIV19 Dan Carlson
SEP 2 9 2020--
Kittitas County Community Development Services
411 N Ruby St. Kittitas County CDS
Ellensburg, WA 98926
Re: Notice of Virtual Public Meeting, Marion Meadows DV -19-00001
Please accept my comments on your decision to conduct a virtual Public Hearing to
consider Marian Meadows Development agreement (DV -19-00001).
Let me start by saying I am stunned that you are wasting your time, my time, and
anyone else's time by trying to move an incorrect, incomplete, misleading, dishonest
(DV -19-00001) forward!
Previous comments submitted to you on this Development Agreement identified many
issues that were NOT completed per the County's own requirements.
To date many of these issues have NOT been addressed!
As I read through the responses, regarding my submitted comments, from Easton Ridge
Land Company (with no signature) it is obvious to me that this individual is not being
honest or transparent. Whoever this individual is I thank them for applauding my
tenacious support and concern for the Easton Community.
As far as getting a fair and non -bias decision from the Easton School Board or the
Easton Fire Commissioners their fears are premature as they have NEVER contacted
either Board for a discussion as their response to our response would lead one to
believe!
Discussions and decisions by Easton School District and Fire District #3 must be made
by the entire Board of Directors, not one individual.
I am a School Board Director, one of five.
I am NOT a Fire Commissioner and do not attend most Commissioner meeting's. I
have little influence on decisions by the Board.
My son Steve has stepped down from the Easton Fire Chief position about a year and
a half ago.
It was stated in their response that I have a significant influence to members of the
Easton Water District. This is absolutely un -true! I very rarely have attended a water
commissioners meeting and have nothing to do regarding any decisions made by
Easton Water District Commissioners!
I do know that as of today, 9/28/20, ERLC has no contract agreement with Easton
Water District as required for a complete Development Agreement.
ERLC's response regarding the violations of Easton Acres CUR's is absurd!!
ERLC states "the county accepted Meadow Way into the County road system under
resolution 2018-151.
