That said, we have
been deemed an "essential business" from the very beginning.
Annual Report
Please rsiewthe infonlldtion belw and update as appropriate to cornplete yout Anrrual Report.
@
AUSINESt INFORMi{IION
Buiinesi Nd0e:
Busihess Type:
Prlnclpal Offlce 5treet Addre15:
Explration Date:
Formation/Registratlon Date:
FIRSTIHIN65 FIRSI, INC.
WA PROFITCORPORAT1ON
6181 WLSON CREEK RD, EI,L€NSBURG, WA
98926.7206, UNTTED STATES
0881t2020
oat15t2Q14
UBI NuHber: @3428666
Bu5lre5s 5t.1tu5: ACTIVE
98926-7206, UNIT€O 5rA1€S
Irr{3drcilonr UNIT€O SIATES, WASHINCTON
Peri(ni oF DUI jTlon: PERPETUAL
Prin(lprl Ollice MnillnB Addr€ss: 6181 Wl'sON CREEKRO €I-LEN5BURG,WA,
lna(tlve Date:
Nature ol Buslness; AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY FISH|NG, HUNTING & TRAPPING
REGI TEBEDAGEI{T RCW23.99.410
To chdnge your Registered Agent, please delete the current Registered Agenr below.
Mailiq ,ldd6s ActioNRed#AgetrNam SRAddr$
JIM DENISON 201 W 7TH AVE, ELLENsBURG, WA, 98326 OOOO. UNIIfD 5TATE5 PO BOX IO8B, EtLENSBURG, WA,98926.0000, UNITED STATES E6
Second, we are financed by the USDA. Our mortgage is carried by the United States Department of
Agriculture. We also operate via a USDA operating loan. This loan is based solely on crop sales. Crop
sales, as defined by the USDA, include all crops such as pumpkins, winter squash and corn maze
admission.
I share this to reiterate that we a farm, not a business looking to put on an event. Viewing our operation
as an "event" was essentially born out of necessity in regards to our buildings. During our October
harvest season, we utilize several Ag buildings that are not permitted for commercial use. ln order to
have those buildings inspected and deemed suitable for temporary commercial occupancy, we apply for
a "special event permit" each year. This does not negate the fact that we are a licensed farm, making us
an essential business.
As an essential Ag business, we are permitted to sell our crop through U-pick and our on-farm store.
https://www.eovernor.wa.eov/sites/default/files/WA%20Essential%20Critical%20lnfrastructure%2OWor
ke r s%20%28Fi nal%29 . p df
https://wsfb.com/em plover-resou rces/u-pick-euide I ines/
As part of our agricultural structure, we also produce what the USDA refers to as "Value Added
Products": Value-added products are defined by USDA as having: A change in the physical state or form
of the product (such as milling wheat into flour or making strawberries into jam). The production of
a product in a manner that enhances its value (such as organically produced products). These are sold
both through our farm store, as well as our on-farm food services.
ln conclusion, our crop and food sales are deemed part of an essential business, as defined by both the
state and USDA. The only other aspect for consideration are the activities we provide while on the farm.
