Ruby Street, Suite 2 1 Ellensburg, WA 98926 1509-962-7506 1 cds@co.kittitasma.us KiTrymC <br />Virtual Hearing Procedures <br />Platform: Cisco Webex video conferencing application with dial -in phone option. <br />• Anew Webex Event will be created for each public hearing with anew password. <br />• The meeting shall be recorded. <br />• The waiting room shall be used. <br />• The chat function will be disabled. <br />• Members of the public will be muted until called upon to testify. <br />Hearing Host: Jessica Miller or designated alternative <br />Decision Maker: Hearing Examiner, Board of County Commissioners, or Planning Commission <br />Proiect Planner: Planner assigned to the application and presenting the staff report. <br />Communication about the hearine: <br />1. The Project Planner will: <br />• Notify the Host of the date and time of the hearing. If multiple hearings are scheduled for <br />the same time, the Project Planners will coordinate, and one Project Planner will provide <br />this notice to the Hearing Host. <br />• Notify the Host who to invite to the Webex hearing. If multiple hearings are scheduled for <br />the same time, each Project Planner will provide this information to the Hearing Host. <br />• Notify the Host who will be presenting prior to the meeting, so that the host knows who <br />to allow to share screen. If multiple hearings are scheduled for the same time, each <br />Project Planner will provide this information to the Hearing Host. <br />2. The Hearing Host will: <br />• Send Webex invitation to the Decision Maker, Project Planner, Planning Official, CDS <br />Director, applicant, applicant's representative, and any others identified by the Project <br />Planner(s). <br />3. The Project Planner will: <br />• Publish and mail notices in accordance with Kittitas County Code. Notices will include <br />virtual public hearing access information. Mailed notices will include "Virtual Public <br />Hearing Instructions" handout. Newspaper notices will include link to "Virtual Public <br />Hearing Instructions." <br />
