KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST STH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM August 24, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, and Laura Osiadacz <br />Others: Dan Carlson, Jeremy Johnston, Bridgett Pechtel <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION: FINZALIZE 2020 ANNUAL DOCKET OF <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATION AMENDMENTS <br />Director Carlson briefed the Board of County Commissioners with <br />a summary of items on the 2020 docket. <br />- Amend definition of Special Care Dwelling to include park <br />model trailers. Amend use tables in KCC 17.15 to provide <br />standards for park model trailers in special care dwelling <br />uses. <br />- Amend use tables to allow cold storage in rural/resource <br />zoning districts. <br />- Amend sign code to allow greater sign height and area for <br />commercial zones fronting highways. Also, would add a <br />conditional use permit option for proposed signs that <br />exceed standards. <br />- City of Ellensburg Annexations - Ord. No. 4828 & Ord. No. <br />4847 " Update zoning and land use tables in Chapter 2 and 8 <br />of Comprehensive Plan if necessary <br />- Amend Survey Requirements per County Surveyor <br />- Amend use tables to allow for impound yard in Snoqualmie <br />Pass LAMIRD <br />- Amend Land Use Tables to allow nurseries by Conditional Use <br />Permit in Rural Recreation zones <br />2020-08-24 MINUTES 1 <br />
