s <br />3KZTTZTA6 COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />MTTITAS COUNTY <br />In addition to the routine inspections mentioned above, KPFF will provide the following: <br />• Inventory inspection of Coleman at Vantage Highway (new construction) <br />• Inventory inspection of Fairview Road Bridge (new construction) <br />• Inventory inspection of Big Boulder Bridge (new construction) <br />KPFF will also compile a repair list for all structural defects observed during the 2020 <br />inspections. The repair list will include the priority of each repair and categorize the repair type <br />to allow the County maintenance workers to group similar repairs. <br />Travel restrictions due to COVID-19 may result in a KPFF inspector being unable to overnight in <br />Kittitas County. Item 2.0 below includes additional travel hours and costs which may occur as a <br />result of COVID-19 travel restrictions. This effort will only be utilized if necessary and with the <br />approval of the County. <br />ITEM NO. 1.0 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION <br />KPFF shall provide project management and contract administration services to organize, <br />manage, and coordinate the staff required to accomplish the work and to facilitate efficient <br />progress. Project Management services shall include: <br />• Project team management and coordination <br />• Monthly progress reporting <br />• Prepare inspection schedule and coordination with Kittitas County <br />• Prepare and review inspection safety plan <br />ITEM NO. 2.0 — TRAVEL TO ELLENSBURG <br />KPFF will travel from Seattle to Ellensburg/Kittitas County to perform bridge inspections. If <br />possible, KPFF will group inspections into trips of two to three days. In the event that the State <br />and/or Kittitas County does not allow overnight stays due to COVID-19 restrictions, additional <br />travel will be required which is included in this task. <br />ITEM NO. 3.0 — KITTITAS COUNTY INSPECTIONS AND REPORTS <br />• The KPFF Bridge Inspector will plan for each inspection trip by reviewing previous <br />inspection reports, planning trip routes, booking travel accommodations, preparing <br />inspection equipment and other miscellaneous tasks needed for the inspection. KPFF <br />Bridge Inspector will coordinate with County co -inspector on trip timing and details. <br />
