07/20/2020 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />N/A. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT SHERRY SWANSON – KRD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to acknowledge and approve the Vice- <br />Chair’s signature on a letter to Sherry Swanson appointing her to <br />the KRD Board of Directors Division No. 2 effective immediately, <br />noting that she would be required to run for election in the fall of <br />2020. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT NONI HUGHES – LTAC COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize the Chair’s <br />signature on a letter to Noni Hughes appointing her to the LTAC <br />effective immediately. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion <br />carried 2-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION UHC PREMIUM CREDIT/COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Ms. Pless reviewed a power point regarding Employee Premium <br />Reduction Scenarios and or Managing Premium Credits. The Board <br />approved Ms. Pless’s recommendation to remit a premium credit of <br />(10%) back to employees for those who had to pay a Premium and back <br />to the County for those who didn’t. <br /> <br />EMERGENCY HIRE COVID-19 CASE & CONTACT PUBLIC HEALTH <br /> <br />Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator, provided the Board with <br />an update on an increase in COVID-19 cases in Kittitas County, and <br />requested emergency hires. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to authorize up to 2 emergency hires, <br />as temporary positions in the Public Health Department for 19 hours <br />a week to assist with case and contact tracing for COVID-19. Vice- <br />Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />CONTRACT BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAM ALLOCATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Board <br />signature on a Contract for Business Support Program Allocation, <br />noting it was reviewed by Legal.
