KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG Regular Meeting MONDAY 1:30 PM JUNE 22, 2020 Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman Laura Osiadacz Others: Candie Leader, Justin Turnbull, Arden Thomas, Public Works; Dan Carlson, Lindsey Ozbolt, Calvana Carper, Jessica Miller, Mike Flory, Community Development Services and Two (2) members of the Public. At 1:48 pm Chairman Brett Wachsmith opened the Public Works Study Session. NEW BOAT LAUNCH WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE DISCUSSION Arden Thomas gave background on the ongoing issues with the current boat launch on Ringer Loop. Arden Thomas explained the new project being discussed and the use of the Stalder property acquired by the Flood Control Zone District as a potential new site for the boat launch. Arden Thomas continued that the neighboring property owner is the City of Ellensburg and staff is looking for direction to begin conversation with the City of Ellensburg on the project. Discussion was held. Staff was directed to move forward with discussions with the City of Ellensburg about the project. REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION CORRECTING SCRIVENER ERROR ON RESOLUTION 2020-122, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS FOR THE BULLFROG ROAD PROJECT, CRP 300-20 Justin Turnbull stated that Resolution 2020-122 was approved at the last agenda session, however, an error in the title was discovered. Justin Turnbull explained that this action is to correct that error. Chairman Brett Wachsmith made a motion to approve Resolution 2020-124 correcting Scrivener Error on Resolution 2020-122, a Resolution authorizing the Chair's Signature on the Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Bullfrog Road Project, CRP 300-20.
