8. Indicate if other needed infrastructure (e.g., sewer, water, power) is in place or if there is a plan for getting
it in place.
All other necessary infrastructure improvements (water, sewer, storm, natural gas, and power)
were completed with the road widening in 2012, and no other infrastructure improvements are
needed. Also, with the previous road widening project, underground conduits for a future traffic
signal were installed across each of the intersection legs, so installation of the traffic signal will
not require road crossings.
9. Indicate the Estimated Number of Businesses Created/Retained by the Project. 73
Currently there is approximately 220 acres of undeveloped land along the Railroad
Ave./Anderson Rd./Dolarway Road corridor, with the majority of the undeveloped land being
zoned light industrial. If you take an average lot size of 3 acres per business, then there is the
potential that the proposed project can support and serve an additional 73 businesses within
this two and a half mile road corridor.
10. Indicated the Estimated Number of Short Term and/or Permanent Jobs Created/Retained by the
Project. 365
As stated above, the 220 acres of undeveloped land can support 73 new businesses, assuming
3 acre lots. If these businesses employed an average of 5 employees each, the proposed
project can support and serve approximately 365 employees.
Submit the original application to:
t£ittitas County Department of Public Works
411 N.
