05/22/2020 MINUTES 2 <br />Caulkins, Chief Civil Deputy (via WebEx); Stephanie Hartung, DPA III <br />(via WebEx); Chris Horner, DPA III (via WebEx); Ben Kokjer, Chief <br />Deputy (via WebEx); Dr. Mark Larson, Health Officer (via WebEx); <br />Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator (via WebEx) and Darren <br />Higashiyama, Chief Deputy (via WebEx)to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement <br />actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the <br />governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is <br />likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. No action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:44 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING UPPER COUNTY RECREATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz followed up with Darren Higashiyama, Chief <br />Deputy and Dr. Larson, Health Officer on recreation in the Upper <br />County going into the Holiday weekend and beyond. There is signage <br />up from the Department of Transportation stating what is open for <br />recreation and not. Kittitas County remains in Phase 1, there is a <br />focus on limiting exposure while in Phase 1 to be able to continue <br />to move to Phase 2. <br /> SIGNATURE PURCHASE CONTRACT SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance <br />Director/Project Director requested the Board approve the Solid <br />Waste Director’s signature on a purchase contract for a unit in
