calculated speeds show forty-six (46) miles per hour average. Mark <br />Cook added that the geometrics of the roadway are designed for fifty <br />(50) miles per hours and Public Works will bring forward a <br />recommendation to leave the speed limit at the current posted speed <br />limit of fifty (50) miles per hour. Mark Cook commented that a work <br />order to remove brush was requested and that work was done <br />immediately. Mark Cook added that in the area of Hansen/Weaver Roads <br />there has only been two (2) reported accidents in the last five (5) <br />years and zero (0) accidents have been reported in the area <br />Hansen/Cedar Cove Roads. Mark Cook requested the Board give <br />direction to schedule a public hearing for June 2, 2020 at 2pm to <br />receive the Engineer's Report and take public testimony on the <br />matter.
