SECTIONH-SPECIALCONTRACTREQUIREMENTSH.l.0WORKHOURSUnlessotherwisespecifiedinSectionC,Specifications,workhoursunderthiscontractshallbetwentyfour(24)hoursaday,seven(7)daysaweek,unlessotherwiseauthorizedbytheCOR.H.2.0ENVIRONMENTALINTERRUPTIONOFWORKH.2.1Environmental-TheContractingOfficer,byissuanceofasuspendworkorder,maydirecttheContractortoshutdownanyworkthatmaybesubjecttodamageduetoweatherconditions,firedanger,orbecauseitisimpracticabletoworkduringthewinterseason.TheContractorwillbegivenaresumeworkorderwhichwilldocumentthedatetheworksuspensionends.Anallowancehasbeenincludedinthecontracttimeforallenvironmentaldelays.Thecountofcontracttimewillthereforecontinueduringallperiodsofsuspensionduetonormalweatherconditions,includingfiredanger.TheContractorwillnotbeentitledtoadditionalcontracttimeforanysuspensionsexcepttotheextentthattheyareduetounusuallysevereweatherconditions.TheContractorwillnotbeentitledtoadditionalmonetarycompensationforsuchsuspensionsregardlessofduration.H.2.2EndangeredSpecies-TheGovernmentmaydirecttheContractortodiscontinuealloperationsintheeventthatlistedorproposedthreatenedorendangeredplantsoranimalsprotectedundertheEndangeredSpeciesActof1973,asamended,orFederalcandidate(Category1and2),sensitiveorstatelistedspecies,identifiedunderBLMManual6840,arediscoveredtobepresentinoradjacenttotheprojectarea.H.3.0DRAWINGSH.3.1ReducedSizeDrawings.Drawingsappearinginthispackagemaybephotographicallyreducedinsize.Accordingly,measurementsanddimensionsshouldnotbetakenorbebasedonanynumericalscalesshown.TheContractormayrequestfull-sizedrawingsfromtheContractingOfficer.H.4.0PRESERVATIONOFHISTORICALANDARCHEOLOGICALDATAH.4.1PublicLaw93-291,May24,1974,providesforthepreservationofscientific,prehistorical,andarcheologicaldata(includingrelicsandspecimens)whichmightotherwisebelostduetoalterationoftheterrainasaresultofanyFederalconstructionproject.H.4.2TheContractoragreesthatshouldanycontractoremployee,intheperformanceofthiscontract,discoverevidenceofpossiblescientific,prehistorical,historical,orarcheologicaldatathecontractorwillnotifytheContractingOfficerimmediatelyinwritinggivingthelocationandnatureofthefindings.H.4.3Whereappropriatebyreasonofdiscovery,theContractingOfficermayorderdelaysinthePage12
