The Community Gives to the Event Center <br />The Event Center also receives support from other community groups throughout the year. The <br />Ellensburg Rodeo Association rents the facility for their annual event and provides thousands of <br />hours of volunteer effort to generate the crowds and financial boon to the local economy. In <br />addition, the Kittitas County Sheriff is able to offer inmate workers to the Event Center on an <br />daily basis. On average, between 3 and 6 inmates are on the grounds nearly every day of the year <br />for up to 8 hours per day.
