Event Planning Services <br />From the time of contact through the end of an event, a Kittitas Valley Event Center staff <br />member is available to assist with the following: <br />• Creation of floor plans and room layouts <br />• Catering service provider recommendations <br />• Recommendations for other local services, hotels, music/lights, etc. <br />• Explanation of building, food/beverage service, security, liquor, and other permits <br />and policies <br />• Contracting services and assistance with event planning and preparation <br />• Event set-up and tear -down - moving tables/chairs between venues, cleaning, etc. <br />• Directions on the grounds, parking and on-call services during event <br />• Advice on how to make your event as zero -waste and low -impact as possible <br />• Kittitas Valley Event Center facility staff will set up and take down tables and <br />chairs in advance of, and after, events. <br />• Our facility staff follows event protocol and our Cleaning Action Plan to ensure a <br />clean facility that is prepared to client specifications. <br />• Our facility staff provides a Welcome Packet that includes keys for the facility, a <br />welcome letter, grounds rules, contact numbers for facility staff, and event <br />protocols. <br />• Our facility staff is on-call for assistance during and after events in the case of an <br />emergency, a problem with the facility, or a need for additional equipment or <br />support. <br />A typical event, when averaged over all events and all employees, involves: <br />Contracting and planning - 3 hours <br />Event set-up - z hours <br />On call services - i hour <br />Event clean-up - 3 hours <br />Billing/processing -1-z hours <br />Average staff time per <br />event = io-u hours <br />51 gage <br />
