KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM MARCH 25, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Commissioner Laura <br />Osiadacz <br />Others: Mark Cook, Candie Leader, Public Works; Dan Carlson, Dusty <br />Pilkington, Mike Flory, Community Development Services <br />At 1:58 pm Chairman Cory Wright opened the Public Works Study Session. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON <br />THE DIGITAL SUBMITTAL CERTIFICATION TO THE COUNTY ROAD ADMINISTRATION <br />BOARD <br />Mark Cook presented the resolution for approval and stated that this <br />is an annual certification that is submitted to the County Road <br />Administration Board for reporting purposes. Commissioner Laura <br />Osiadacz made a motion to approve Resolution 2019-060 Authorizing the <br />Chair's Signature on the Digital Submittal Certification to the County <br />Road Administration Board. Chairman Cory Wright seconded the motion. <br />Motion passed 2-0. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION STATING THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS' POSITION OF "NO NET LOSS" FOR ACCESS ON PUBLIC ROADS <br />Mark Cook stated that the Board of County Commissioners has been <br />working with the Public Lands Advisory Committee and other <br />stakeholders regarding access on public roads. Mark Cook continued <br />that Public Works finalized the resolution for approval. Chairman <br />Cory Wright expressed his thanks to Commissioner Laura Osiadacz for <br />her efforts on this and Mark Cook added that Chairman Cory Wright was <br />also passionate on this issue. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz stated <br />that she also appreciates all the work that has been done from staff <br />and stakeholders. Chairman Cory Wright made a motion to approve <br />Resolution 2019-061 Stating the Board of County Commissioners' <br />Position of "No Net Loss" for Access on Public Roads. Commissioner <br />Laura Osiadacz seconded the motion with said motion passing 2-0. <br />PROPERTY TRANSFER OF TAX PARCEL 693835 - CITY OF CLE ELUM DISCUSSION <br />Mark Cook stated at a previous study session he spoke to the Board <br />about the City of Cle Elum requesting to acquire Tax Parcel 693835 for <br />a potential dog park. Mark Cook continued that at that study session <br />the Board requested staff research the value of the tax parcel. Mark <br />Cook added that the market value for the parcel is one hundred dollars <br />2019-03-25 MINUTES <br />
