1/14/2019 MINUTES 2 <br />and slush. Mr. Egan stated that for snow tires mounted and balanced <br />it would be approximately $800.00 and with studs a bit more. He <br />stated that the lower estimate was received from Les Schwab and <br />since there everywhere that’s a benefit to the Board for all the <br />travel they do it could be serviced anywhere. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to authorize approval of the purchase <br />of snow tires for the BoCC Ford Explorer. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST TV MOUNT – BOCC CONF. ROOM COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board stated that during the <br />BoCC Office cleanup (12/21/2018) she had been asked to look into the <br />cost for a TV mount for the BoCC Conference Room. She indicated that <br />after talking to I.T. they anticipated the cost to be approximately <br />$75.00. The Board approved the purchase as presented. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of January 14, 2019 they would <br />share a meeting announcement for HEM on 1/15/19 @ 10:00 a.m. at the <br />Armory as well as an announcement about the Towns to Teanaway Master <br />Plan document being complete. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. This was determined at a Special <br />Meeting with the Board of County Commissioners held on June 18, <br />2009. Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their <br />respective departments and exchanged details of those meetings. On <br />January 3, 2011 the Board determined it would be beneficial to <br />alternate Commissioners that will oversee the different Department <br />Head’s on an annual basis. They determined at the end of 2013 they <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS- <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II questioned if the Board <br />wanted voicemail with their new phones. The Board stated they did <br />not want Voicemail. Staff was asked to notify IT for the set-up <br />process. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright stated that the current Ellensburg Rodeo Board (ERB) <br />Contract ends at the end of 2019 and the Board needs a BoCC Lead for <br />the negotiations. He proposed Commissioner Wachsmith be the BoCC
