<br />11/06/2018 MINUTES 5 <br /> <br /> <br />salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to be generally <br />applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to the public, <br />and when a governing body elects to take final action hiring, setting <br />the salary of an individual employee or class of employees, or <br />discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a <br />meeting open to the public. No action was anticipated. <br />At 10:42 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No action <br />was taken. <br />At 10:43 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session with Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer <br />for 10 minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of <br />real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such <br />consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. Possible <br />action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:53 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. The Board <br />provided direction to Staff to follow the recommendation and go with the <br />stated amount with no variables to allow for more security for citizens. <br /> <br />Urban Eberhart, Kittitas County Reclamation District, announced the <br />Kittitas County Public Works Department’s application for Flood Plain By <br />Design application for work in the South of Ellensburg came in #2 out of <br />a Statewide list which will provide for approximately 2 million dollars. <br />He said it was a team approach and the Board should be proud of the <br />Public Works Department’s application and said it was a great testament <br />to the kind of projects that are here in the County along with a <br />collaborative approach to solving resource problems. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:59 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik Laura Osiadacz, Chairman
