KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOWERS FIELD AIRPORT <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) <br />FOR LIMITED FIXED BASE OPERATOR SERVICES AT <br />BOWERS FIELD, ELLENSBURG, WASHINGTON <br />Kittitas County Bowers Field Airport is requesting proposals from interested service providers <br />supporting limited fixed base operator services. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The following services are being solicited: <br />• Maintain, and staff an FBO Office at Bowers Field including a pilot lounge, <br />transient pilot weather information and flight planning room. <br />• Provide and maintain a vending machine supporting pilot snacks available a <br />minimums of eight hours per day, six days per week. <br />• Furnish, clean, stock and maintain restrooms available to the general public 24 <br />hours a day, seven days per week. <br />• Coordinate rental cars for pilots with area rental car providers. <br />• Manage the County's tie down areas. <br />• Coordinate with the Airport Manager and file NOTAMS with the Federal <br />Aviation Administration as required. <br />• Act as security monitor for airport access through all gates. <br />• Provide additional services as determined and agreed to by the Airport Manager. <br />Responders are advised that currently, the County's main hangar facility at Bowers Field is <br />occupied by Central Washington University (CWU). CWU's lease of the facility runs to <br />October, 2023. <br />FORMAT OF REQUEST FOR PROPOULS <br />To facilitate review, RFPs submittals shall conform to the following fonuat. <br />1. Experience and Qualifications: Provide a description of your experience and <br />qualifications providing airport services (or other public services). include any aviation <br />experience that supports your understanding the service package being solicited by the <br />County. <br />2. Pricing Structure: Identify your necessary cost for all items that you are proposing to <br />provide. Please respond with annual costs for any and all items you wish to provide.
