Candie Leader
From:
Mark Cook
Sent:
Wednesday, August 23, 2017 8:17 AM
To:
'kim@carrerahangars.com'
Cc:
'Mary.Vargas@faa.gov'; Paul Jewell; Obie O'Brien; Laura Osiadacz; Candie Leader
Subject:
FOD
Pursuant to sections: 16, 18, 19 and 27 of Camera's lease agreement with Kittitas County, you are noticed to
respond immediately removing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from Carrara's damaged hangar. We received
notice from FAA Seattle yesterday of their intention to possibly regulate against Kittitas County for failure to
remove FOD from Camera's damaged hangar. I understood that you were responding this week with a repair
contractor. Yesterday's complaint from a local airman requires immediate response. If you cannot coordinate
an immediate response, please contact me requesting County cleanup. We will remove the FOD and bill back
to Carrera the cost of the response effort. I will also prepare a registered letter noticing of our intent to
terminate Carrera's lease later today, in the event you fail to respond to this electronic message. I regret
having to take this action. Regards, Cook.
Mark R.
