Cook <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />None. <br />BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br />• Recently, the Board of County Commissioners requested Public Works send <br />comments to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regarding <br />Grant County PUD No. 2's recreational plan update. <br />• PUD staff desire having a discussion with the Board regarding the Board's <br />decision. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Several weeks ago, the Board of County Commissioners directed Public Works to file <br />comments with FERC regarding Grant PUD's pending recreation plan. PW submitted <br />the comments to FERC on September 12, 2018. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Grant County PUD staff desires a discussion with the Board of County Commissioners <br />regarding the restroom at Vantage Boat Ramp and other issues raised with FERC. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />The Public Facilities grant application from Public Works is not being recommended for <br />funding by the Council of Government. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Exhibit 1: FERC comments on PUD No. 2's proposed recreation plan. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />PUBLIC WORKS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />
