Cook <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Provide staff direction regarding the preferred hiring process for the vacant County <br />Engineer. <br />BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br />• Public Works is now ready to solicit candidates for County Engineer <br />• Previous hiring process included multiple stakeholders during the interview phase <br />of the hiring process <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The County Engineer position has been vacant since 05/2018 (Resolution 2018-066). <br />Public Works is now ready to solicit for candidates.
